Shenzhen Batian Ecotypic Engineering Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Batian") is a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of compound fertilizer, control released (CR) fertilizer, organic & inorganic compound fertilizer, bio- fertilizer and other fertilizer in China. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province of China, Batian originally was founded in 1989 in Shenzhen, from a simple plant of mainly producing poly fertilizer into a national environment-friendly high technology enterprise, national tech renovation spark-plan leading enterprise, high & new technology enterprise of Shenzhen and leading enterprise in agricultural industry of Shenzhen. Our company now owns production bases in Guangdong, Guangxi and Jiangsu provinces of China, a R&D centre in Shenzhen; in particular, Batian was listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange in September 2007 and became the first listed company specializing in the production of compound fertilizer in China. With 304.56 million RMB registered capital and over 2 million ton annual production capacity. Now, Batian's products include over hundreds types of four large series, which are mainly applied to field crops, fruits & vegetables, lawns, turf, flowers, and trees, and can effectively improve inner quality of farm production and protect the environment. Generally speaking, Batian's products primarily cover the large agricultural market and the urban greening market.

In 2008, the brand "Batian" ranked among "the Top 500 Best Valuable Brands in China", and our production value was RMB 623 million. Through over 20 years' development, imaged as "Nutrition Expert of the Food Chain" (which means the expert at providing nutrition for the food), Batian has created a miracle in the field of the compound fertilizer industry at a high speed. The annual output of Batian's compound fertilizer increased from 1 thousand tons in 1990 to 2 million tons in 2009, and the annual sales income increased by over 1 thousand times from 100 thousand RMB in 1990 to 1.8 billion RMB in 2008, which means keeping a rapid annual growth in recent years.

Except for an excellent high technology R&D team, our company employs over 20 experts as R&D consultants and establishes close technology cooperation relationships with many colleges, universities and scientific research academies & institutes. Our company has participated in two projects supported by the National 863 Program and the project in the National Science & Technology Pillar Program in the Eleventh Five-year Plan Period, and undertaken National Program of Commercialization of Agricultural Science & Technology Achievements. Over ten years' research & development, Batian has obtained a great number of independent intelligent property rights. At present, our company possesses 9 patents of invention and 18 patents are still pending. Particularly, in 2004 our self-invented compound fertilizer with high tower graining process became domestic pioneer, whose intangible assets value amounted up to RMB 188 million, and was awarded the certificate of Shenzhen Scientific & Technological Innovation.
